so what is slow? i mean the commands just get redirected via socket over to another WSL2 distro very similar to going from the windows host into the alpine distro

Hi Justin, this turned out to be an issue on the VM. On a laptop it ran fine. On the vm commands typed into powershell like kubectl get nodes were quick but in the distro terminal (ubuntu) very slow. Again though did not see this at all on 2 other machines so the issue must have been with the VM. Thanks
