I do notice that in the Desktop app, the Port Forwarding section, the NodePort shows up and I can access it with a browser. So it's weird that it doesn't reflect that in the Rancher UI.

v2.7.0 sounds like an older version of Rancher not Rancher Desktop, two different products. The latest version of the latter is 1.16.0.

The Cluster Explorer in Rancher Desktop is "borrowed" from Rancher Manager, and is stuck at a really old version.

So, I installed Rancher (using Helm) and it replaced the Cluster Dashboard with the latest greatest Rancher. 😄

Yeah, that works, it just takes a little while to initialize
