You need to create a second

cluster network

for the VM to use, and connect VMs from Rancher using this network. https://docs.harvesterhci.io/v1.3/networking/index#custom-cluster-network

I tried that, but the second cluster vm didn't provide ip address (and will it act as a gateway automatically or will.i have to setup something as a gateway),

VM will dhcp on first NIC by default
