output of that command in my case is that
Copy code
/<user path>/Library/Application Support/rancher-desktop/lima
directory does not exist I installed RD from a package and did nothing else
f
Maybe create a new issue with your logs? Do you have device management software installed by your company that might be blocking things?
d
hmmm. Tbh no idea. I was also trying to find smth useful in Console but no real luck what I can say for sure is that I have 100% exactly the same behaviour as the author of the issue you've shared
f
Yeah, but we really need to see the logs; the same behaviour can be caused by different issues. Looking at 2516 I think that might have been caused because the app used to run via Rosetta, which is no longer the case. So I will close this issue for now, and see if the original reported still reproduces it with 1.13.1.

could you please recommend how to get the most valuable logs for this case?
f
Copy code
zip -ro9 logs ~/Library/Logs/rancher-desktop
d
there is no such directory. But Rancher is in /Applications. So it should be installed, because I can try to launch it
