We have multiple ceph clusters in production for different uses that the team has a lot of experience with supporting so it was a pretty easy call for us to make. It for sure is more complicated than what you probably need, but once you start getting into HA things, the complexity always goes up.

01/23/2024, 4:30 PMI never used it for Harvester, but I have had experience with LinBit DRBD and linstor and if we weren't doing ceph I suspect that we might have ended up there.

01/23/2024, 4:33 PMTheir support for DRBD was some of the best I've ever had from a vendor as far as the technical and customer support to quickly resolve issues. (Compared to lots of other vendors: vmware, redhat, citrix, microsoft, alfresco, etc..)
