Thank you for your reply. I will have a try! But I think the docs is about the volume of the file system's mode, not block's mode.

As far as I can see the docs I linked to says nothing about the volume mode. Try it out. Ensure you’re on test so that you don’t potentially corrupt production data.

@late-needle-80860 Hi! I had a try to trim the volume with block mode. But I failed. The volume mounted the host unsuccessfully.

@late-needle-80860 Longhorn Fronted could tell you this volume has no a mounted point. If you want to mount this volume to the host. you would get errors as follows:

Hey. The block volume used as a disk in Harvester VM need to be trim by ssh into the VM an run the fstrim command

@famous-journalist-11332 Thank you for your reply. The block volume is not mounted to the VM. It is booted by virt-launcher pod. I tried to trim in virt-launch pod. Finally. I didn't found the volume mounted point.
