@average-shampoo-53207 I don't run windows, but there should be an option in the menu 'Troubleshooting' and 'Diagnostics' the logs may provide some insight?
c
Are you running wsl pre-release? I started to have the same issue on Windows 10 using pre-release WSL. Unfortunately even removing it and reinstalling everything to 1250 the problem for now is the same. I'm asking about it in another thread.
a
No its not pre-release... (or I don't think so) WSL version: 1.2.5.0 Kernel version: 5.15.90.1 WSLg version: 1.0.51 MSRDC version: 1.2.3770 Direct3D version: 1.608.2-61064218 DXCore version: 10.0.25131.1002-220531-1700.rs-onecore-base2-hyp Windows version: 10.0.22621.2283

Everything's the same except for windows version, i'm using a previous release
funny it tells windows version 10 instead of 11. Checked my win 11 box, and it reports as 10 too
On my windows 11 machine, exact same versions that you are using, it's working as expected. Rancher Desktop 1.10.0 Do you have any VPN software or AV solution different than Windows Defender? I had issues with corporate VPN. I need to start everything with the VPN disconnected or it fails.
a
no vpn... I suspect it might be a the kube context? I did have docker desktop before and also docker binary... and when I now switch back to docker desktop then I had a similar problem but docker desktop has a way to select the correct context... It might be something along this...
c
You can change it from tray icon too, or maybe use command line to set it to rancher-desktop. I had more than 1 context in my kubeconfig and this was not an issue before wsl pre release.
