Is this the first time you are trying to install/use Rancher Desktop on your machine? Did you try machine restart, Rancher Desktop factory reset? Someone seems to have reported this problem in the past on Github, but the issue seems to have got resolved on it's own. Can you please file a Github issue with some more information such the OS you are running on, and attaching Rancher Desktop log files? Thanks.

@rapid-eye-50641 thanks for answering... later on I did manage to find what was causing the issue. There was an error with

policies

on my machine which made my account only partialy admin. I did find out about it when trying to uninstall the app I was not able to. After gaining the proper (elevated) permission for whole install process everything is working as normal. thx
