I setup a 3 node cluster recently on 3 bare metal servers and managed to start everything if I reboot them

Ok, same here, well I am using Oracle 9.1 on the cluster. But I followed instructions here https://technixleo.com/install-kubernetes-k3s-on-centos-rhel-alma/
maybe that your firewall is blocking it, not sure.

I installed Rancher on a seperate host in the end and it works fine, also with Longhorn. However I am only doing this for fun/interest 🙂
