rancheros is mostly dead at this point in terms of updates etc, best to move to a more frequently updated os

It’s sad, no real easy bootable ephemeral option any more. We’re looking at burmillaOS

@little-ambulance-5584 in-place upgrade to BurmillaOS is easiest fix to that issue https://burmillaos.org/docs/installation/upgrading/#upgrade-rancheros-to-burmillaos and you get OS which still receives updates.
However I would like to see also contributors (or even potential maintainers) appear to there instead just users (but anyone is of course allowed to use it as it is open source).

Howdy there! Can you give any insights on how the migration went? And how you upgraded to integrate that OS into the cluster?
Can you also speak to if I can bootstrap it the same way that RancherOS worked? (ISO via URL)
