hi Team. Is my understanding correct that for RKE2 we don’t need to install docker on master/worker nodes before creating a cluster and specified container runtime will be installed during an installation? thx!

it's bundled with containerd as standard. No need to install docker or any other container runtime on your nodes prior to running RKE2
You can think of containerd being embedded in RKE2

Purely based on the fact it's a single binary, yes.
