I realize that the default traefik ingress controller needs to be disabled (https://docs.k3s.io/faq#how-can-i-use-my-own-ingress-instead-of-traefik), and presently, I think that is what is keeping us from deploying istio

There's nothing unique about running Istio in K3s. Not sure what Traefik has to do with this though?
