Hi guys, I need some advice, I just removed some nodes from my pool but it seems they are stuck. They have been in this state for hours. What can I do in order to definitely remove them and be able to use my cluster normally? I would appreciate your help Thanks
Anyone can help me with this?

you can manually edit and remove the
finalizer
from the node object

Well it seems that solves the problem, thanks!

you will have to delete the nodes outside of rancher, though

You mean from the cloud provider?

yes
that's what rancher was trying to do and got stuck at.

even though I already removed them from the pool node?
I just looked and notice that the machines are still running in the cloud provider

ok. so if you remove the finalizer, the removal won't be finished. But since that wasn't working anyway you need to do it manually
maybe the credentials in rancher had expired or something else was misconfigured so the nodes couldn't be removed
