From the Rancher Desktop trey icon select "Kubernetes Contects ->" then select "rancher-desktop".

In that case, that warning is not your problem.
Your problem is that "Kubernetes has encountered an error".

You might want to look through some of the logs, accessed from the "Troubleshooting" page, so discover why Kubernetes (or maybe the VM) has not started.
