I uninstalled Rancher Desktop and re-installed Docker Desktop (Windows 10). For reasons I can't explain, the product was "flaky", meaning that periodically and without warning the Docker daemon would just stop working. I would have also have containers running with mapped ports that worked fine under but often were inaccessible under RD, meaning, I was not able to access the services running on the mapped port. I also like the fact that DD allows you to manage your images and containers from within the UI rather than having to issue Docker CLI commands for general activities.
