not recommended as you get into a chicken and egg problem if the underlying harvester cluster has any issues (which I have run into due to disk pressures on a single node) I just spun up an ubuntu vm and performed the docker instructions for installing rancher manager. I have since moved that off and have installed rancher manager on rancher desktop (whole other set of issues as it's on Win11 and 'Microsoft') Let me know if you need any links to docs, they are all on SUSE's site and under the rancher URLs.
