Hey all, what would be the best channel to ask about an issue with Rancher? Not Rancher Desktop

What area is your question about?

I'm having an issue with importing clusters using tls.source=external... getting an x509 Unknown Authority error from my cattle-cluster-agent and I wanted to find out where I need to add my external certificate to the cluster-agent config to get it to join. I'm using a self-signed certificate.

Your best bet would be here in #general . I don't know much, but there is an import command for unsecure certs in the registration tab of your imported cluster. From your question though i'm guessing you want to avoid that?

I'm not seeing that tab, is that only visible when the cattle-cluster-agent connects to Rancher?
I'm on v2.6.3 btw

Just to confirm, in the Rancher Manager UI in Cluster Management you're
Import Existing
a
Generic
cluster?

Oh disregard, I misunderstood. I am using that option and am able to deploy the resources into my imported cluster, but my cluster agent never connects back to Rancher

ah, ok. I'm not sure on the solution then

It is complaining about my load balancer serving it a self-signed certificate, so I was trying to figure out how I supply the cluster-agent with that certificate
Thanks anyway @stocky-account-63046!
