Where in the docs does it go over why / what values you would set for the tls-san option in cluster.config?

if you’re putting the control plane behind a LB, and want the certificate to be valid for that LB’s hostname?
that’s the most common reason.
or maybe you want to use a DNS alias for the hosts or something
there are a fair number of reasons someone might want to add additional hostnames to a certificate

Ok, that's what I had thought based on the examples I had seen out there but couldn't confirm that in the documentation.
