Not sure about AppArmor, but SELinux enforcing is only available if you install RKE2 manually via RPM method and then join to Rancher later. I don't think the docs from rancher.com give the info for SELinux, but the docs at docs.rke2.io do, so my guess is to poke around there for AppArmor.

I have that in a prior thread and there is / was a bug with apparmor causing issues with rke2 on ubuntu 20.04. which OS do you use?

I'm on CentOS 7 at the moment, will move to Rocky 8 at some point. If you had a Rancher person replying in the previous thread maybe mention them directly? If it was Brad Davidson (who's answered most of my questions here) I noticed his Rancher icon changed to a palm tree labelled vacation on mouseover so I'm guessing that might mean he's a bit sparser at the moment.

Ill give this one more try before i go from ubuntu to centos 7 or OEL7.9

hi👋 just trying my luck here. i have searched on the internet, but couldn't find the answer. but do you know why enforcing
selinux
will disable remote access to the rke2 cluster? https://rancher-users.slack.com/archives/C01PHNP149L/p1656128795926719?thread_ts=1656084121.948749&cid=C01PHNP149L

I still can't get my cluster to work. I've wiped the servers for now until someone can tell me how to get this to work. I'm glad I'm working on taking the rke2 certification.
It's also worth mentioning that I'm doing this on NUCs on a home lab using Ubuntu 20.04

got it, thanks for the info
