what do you call support ?
if you have a look at the Releases page on GitHub you can see that K3s is released for multiple releases of Kubernetes https://github.com/k3s-io/k3s/releases
m
@careful-piano-35019 But it doesn't say if or when support for a given version, say 3.5.2, would be dropped. That was what I was looking for. Please can you tell me where I can find more information on that.
Or to put it another way, do we say that version 3.5.2 is now End-Of-Life if version 4.0 is released ?
c
I don't understand what version you refer to
m
k3s version
c
so like 1.24 1.23 & 1.22 ?
m
Correct
I'm sorry for confusing you with those version numbers
c
it follows k8s versions https://kubernetes.io/releases/
m
Oh ok. So, k3s too would maintain the most recent three release versions. Correct ?
c
three is a current number, but that's likely to change over time
and there are technically 4 currently https://github.com/k3s-io/k3s/releases/tag/v1.21.13%2Bk3s1 1.21.13 is the latest release of 1.21 which will be eol 2022-06-28
m
Thanks. Please can you tell me the eol date for v1.23.4+k3s1.
c
*End of Life:*2023-02-28
I don't think a K3s release has an EOL, it's replaced by a newer patch release

Thanks Paul 🙂 . That was the information I needed. You have helped me a lot. I wish you a great day ahead.
