the chart uses helm v3 features. You need at least helm v3 to install it. that does not mean that you cannot use helm v4 cli.

Thanks for your help and confirmation about Helm v4. The rancher docs also saying "Select any Helm v3 version" suggested to me that Helm v4 couldn't be used. In some ways, explicitly quoting specific major version(s) is desirable as a future Helm v5 would also be higher than v3.2 but we don't know what breaking changes are coming in a future Helm v5.
