Hi, ETCD Snapshots are not visible in Rancher-UI for all downstream clusters Environment: RKE2-managed downstream clusters with CAPI controllers on the local UCM. Rancher/UCM: 2.12.3 Downstream Kubernetes: 1.33.9 vSphere provider for VM provisioning We recently started seeing Rancher UI → Snapshots empty across all downstream clusters, although snapshots are successfully triggered and stored in both local storage and S3. The issue appears limited to the Rancher UI snapshot view. Some observations from the local UCM: kubectl get etcdsnapshots.rke.cattle.io -A | wc -l 6211 The 3 downstream clusters had accumulated ~3K ETCDSnapshot objects, while other clusters had only recent snapshots. Rancher local cluster logs were repeatedly reporting:

unable to find node <old-node-name> in machines, requeuing

We identified the affected entries as stale snapshots referencing an old/removed machine and removed the stale snapshot objects. We then restarted cattle agent pods in rancher local Post-cleanup: -> The specific snapshotbackpopulate / old-node errors are no longer seen. -> ETCD snapshots continue to exist and are being created successfully. current count ❯ kubectl get etcdsnapshots.rke.cattle.io -A | wc -l 3294 However, Rancher UI → Snapshots is still empty across the downstream clusters. The overall UI issue therefore remains unresolved; the stale snapshot error appears to have been a separate reconciliation issue. Could you please help review and advise on the remaining Rancher UI snapshot issue/root cause?
