my understanding is that if you want a port you need to look into SR-IOV. PCI passthrough is the whole card.

my PCI device do not have the SR-IOV hardware reference its why I cannot get only 1 port but the full card. thanks it helps a lot 🙂

get a bigger server with more cards? lol
