My latest knowledge here is that any form of Kubernetes isn‘t supported by SAP (at least for CIs, application servers are a different story). But that knowledge might be outdated. But I know RH was working on getting RHOCP certified, but I don‘t know if this was finished.

We are planning to teat SAP to host on Rancher as on SUSECon they have introduced SAP on Rancher but not sure at which form we can host either in containers form or VM

Do you have and links to public information? I'm only aware of Rancher for SAP applications: https://www.suse.com/products/rancher-for-sap/ And from what I can read there, it's containerized, so no VMs. I'd be a little surprised if Central Instances are supported on k8s and esp. not in a container. At max, a VM. Do you know any SA from SUSE you could reach out to? Otherwise I could try to pull someone on this thread.

Hi from SUSE. Rancher for SAP is the product that we have for running some add-ons from SAP, like Edge Integration Cell. Edge Integration Cell(EIC) is the replacement from PI/PO that will be deprecated in 2027. With EIC you can work with sensitive data in your own datacenter or cloud. So you have with Rancher for SAP Applications the full stack from Rancher with Observabiltiy, Security and so on to run this applications.
