Based on the source, this error should only be reported if the resource is removed (https://github.com/rancher/rancher/blob/67d0e7cbff8374d216a1bb0c44d59688ce1020f0/pkg/metrics/garbagecollector.go#L138) while in our case the actual clusters still exists.
