Does Longhorn work with arm64 tegra architecture ? I keep getting issues with open-iscsi
l
What kind of issues? @icy-agency-38675 Do we have experience about running on this platform?
i
arm64 is supported. What errors are in your cluster?
l
I mean tegra platform
i
Tegra is not the point, because arm64 tegra is still based on arm64. Longhorn is validated on arm64, so we can check the error message first to figure out the root cause.
l
Tegra is not the point
Are you sure? 😅
i
I don't see any issues with this statement at the moment. Feel free to share your thoughts. Or, let’s wait for the support bundle or additional information.
l
My thoughts are all in the question I made to you. However, Tegra, and not arm64, is the board platform I asked for. It was enough to reply No, less is more 👍
i
What user mentioned is tegra
arm64
... As I mentioned, we need to wait for the information

Guys, my kernel: 5.10.104-tegra (ARM64, NVIDIA Jetson / Tegra-based device) But when I tried setting up the Longhorn system requirements outlined in the docs, and so I tried running: Modprobe iscsi_tcp And I got module not found error….the tegra specific arm64 kernel is incompatible with Longhorn….

Sudo modprobe iscsi_tcp modprobe: FATAL: Module iscsi_tcp not found in directory /lib/modules/5.10.104-tegra

Hello @handsome-autumn-77266 This is not a compatibility issue. Please check with your OS vendor to see how to install the required kernel modules.

God damn nvidia
i
It is a common problem, but no worries, you can build the required kernel modules by yourself if the vendor cannot provide the precompiled modules. https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/inux-extra-modules-on-top-of-5-10-104-tegra-arm64/254299
