Hey All, Upgrade question. We are running Rancher version 2.5.8 (v1.18.18 local cluster k8s version) and want to bring the env up to the most recent 2.6.x version. We seen advice in the past that we should only increment 1 minor version at a time (also seen possibly skipping 2 minor versions is acceptable). Given we have so many versions between us and current is this really the best approach? What are other users experiences? Would jumping to the latest 2.5.x then latest 2.6.x in 2 steps sound reasonable?

Yes, I think that should be fine. Upgrade to 2.5.X latest and then to 2.6.8

For rancher that will work but for k8s and docker version ALWAYS one at a time and make sure you are staying within the support matrix for your given release. Might have to do some leap frigging to get all the versions correct. Also note that sometimes it's just easier to wipe and start over
