Hi all. I can't find a roadmap or similar for K3S, documenting which of the current active branches in github (1.29 to 1.32) is maintained how long? Background: I want to install on a new VM K3S together with Rancher, but the current stable rancher says

Error: UPGRADE FAILED: chart requires kubeVersion: < 1.32.0-0 which is incompatible with Kubernetes v1.32.3+k3s1

Found this issue https://github.com/rancher/rancher/issues/43092#issuecomment-2423135070, which says install an older K3S. That's why I'm searching the newest possible older K3S release.

Speaking personally, I look at https://github.com/k3s-io/k3s/releases and pick the highest non-

rc

release for the Kubernetes version I want.

K3s is Kubernetes. The branches are maintained and see new releases as long as upstream continues releasing on them. You should be looking at the Kubernetes release schedule. https://kubernetes.io/releases/
