RWX attaches the volume to an NFS pod which then shares it for mounting by the workload pod. That's a lot of overhead that can be avoided if you don't need it.

if you requires multiple application nodes its the only way to achieve them, or, for example, if you update you app and the new pod not deploys over same node, pod cant start
