The management network it sets up runs on top of your local network. You need to set up your local network as a VMNetwork (easiest with a second nic interface) and have the vm use that instead of the mgmt network.
c
So I buy a nic for the mini pc I am running harvester on redo harvester install then use my local machines nic to create a vm network?
b
I don't think have do redo the install.
I don't have any boxes that are set up that way (only 1 nic) but there's either a way to put the VMNetwork on the mgmt nic, or there's not.
I don't know the limitations of the requirements.
c
That looks very helpful, when I get home I'm going to try it out and report back. Thank you!

A. Create a “Virtual Machine Network”. this can use the same single NIC as the host.
B. Add the VM to that network.
c
My nic wasn't registering properly. When i went through those steps it was grayed out. I am going back through the install of harvester to hopefully get it properly connected. Thank you for the screenshots!
