Rancher SSO will redirect back to rancher, rather than another application

I've a developer portal of my own, built using Backstage, I want myself to be able to do all the things from there instead of the Rancher dashboard. I'm able to get the

to exchange for a token on my application, but, the Rancher server doesn't return one. I opened a GitHub issue as well, explaining what's happening, if you'd be interested in pointing me in the right direction.

That might be very complicated. The dashboard brings a lot of value. Restricting the scope of your project down to one or two core features might help, like showing a list of pods. The APIs that the dashboard uses are also internal and liable to change without public announcement. For the auth issue, i don't think Rancher will open up specific auth providers, however there might be a change a more generic pattern will arrive in a minor release or two

@stocky-account-63046 is there an existing/open issue for the said minor change for the generic pattern? I just wanted to check if that'd be useful for me.
