Thanks for sharing. I have 2 questions: Is the switch connecting your Nodes using 1gbps or 10gbps ports? Does this change require changing the system hardware?

My Management switch is 1gb/s and my Frontend or Backend is Bonded at 50gb/s. 2 separate sets of switches. You do not have to have yours setup this way, and will work with a few different setups. However, it does not make sense if you simply have a single link from your hosts to your switch. At least in my opinion... I think, maybe it could if you wanted to do traffic isolation and QoS at a per VLAN but it all depends on you needs. My system is in production and I could not change the hardware if I wanted to. So no, there were no port, hardware or other physical changes that needed to be made. Let me know if you have any question our need any help.
