According to the Rancher Support Matrices, Rancher 2.9.2 supports RKE2 1.27-1.30 with Rancher 2.10.1 RKE2 1.28-1.31 - see https://www.suse.com/suse-rancher/support-matrix/all-supported-versions/rancher-v2-9-2/ and https://www.suse.com/suse-rancher/support-matrix/all-supported-versions/rancher-v2-10-1/ respectively. Since both support RKE2 1.28 I would therefore first upgrade Rancher 2.9.2 to 2.10.1 and then update RKE2 to 1.28.15

We did that but now our RKE1 cluster name is not showing up in Rancher UI
