I've manually attempted to clear the disks using the blkdeactivate command that is used in the installer, as well and validating all partitions are clear.

This is a new one for me, I just reinstalled harvester going from 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 without issues. I had to reinstall cause my upgrade just hung there.
This might be a good issue to put up on GitHub for the Harvester team.

I tried to ensure that this was not related to the previous lvm clearing issue, but it doesnt appear to be.
Just to close this out for someone else...
Solution: Bios had been reset, and was not defaulting to UEFI boot for the device. Forcing UEFI in the bios, and then reinstalling worked.

thanks for closing this out. and glad you were able to get past this. I am currently waiting on the 1.1 beta right now to reinstall Harvester again 🤞
