RD doesn't use k3d (K3s in Docker) - it's K3s (The Kubernetes Distro) right away. Traefik (and whatever else is deployed within the Cluster) is likely similar in both (K3s built-in). At least k3d doesn't change/add/remove anything there. Other than that I cannot tell you anything about RD 😬
