I am trying to bring up longhorn in my on-prem cluster. I have applications like MongoDB , promoetheus etc which will use the storage classes created by longhorn .. Which one we need to use for creating PV's ? @late-needle-80860

Depends on many things
how you want to run MongoDB and other stateful applications in a highly-available fashion. If you do at all.
read about the cap-theorem. And then decide if your use-case requires you to setup for availability or capacity and how you’ll handle network partitioning in the setup.
Also look at it IF you need 3 replicas and the data insurance that comes with.
