Rancher Desktop 1.16 is currently unable to determine available k3s versions due to a change in the response of the k3s update channel. That means on a fresh install, or after doing a factory reset that wipes the k3s cache, you will no longer be able to enable Kubernetes because the version list will be empty. Earlier releases are not affected.
This issue has been resolved.
