same problem for me

yeah seems like something is funny with your route to the internet (or possibly just that site). you can follow https://docs.rancherdesktop.io/how-to-guides/running-air-gapped/ which is basically what you did. specifically look at https://docs.rancherdesktop.io/how-to-guides/running-air-gapped/#the-cache-directory and try and access using your browser to see if there are any errors that popup.
