Okay, it looks like the first problem (same-bridge communication) was solved by just using:

echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/bridge/bridge-nf-call-iptables

(this skips iptables for routing the packets on the bridge) I still can't reach the other node (via flannel?) nor the internet though

OMG. It was nftables. I had some default rules on this distro (postmarketOS) that weren't visible from

iptables

, and those were blocking the conenctions. FML Thank you anyways, and sorry for the long post 😄
