You have to ssh into the machine
b
Yes - used Bastion to access the nodes using kubectl.
c
No you have to ssh into the node you extended the command and from the shell of the machine, and not from a Pod, run the growpart / resize2fs commands
b
Maybe not sure how to do that. The nodes can only be accessed through the bastion and no keypair to ssh from bastion into the node. This is a prod set up.
c
You have to find a way. Worst case, try to execute a Pod that mounts / rw and put and authorized_keys manually in /mountpoint/root/.ssh
b
Great idea - I never thought of that. I found that there is an access restriction to the root folder but I will give this a try. The RKE2 is hosted with big bang and has lots of policy restrictions.
c
> The RKE2 is hosted with big bang I do not know what the above means, but if it is a hosting / cloud provider, ask their staff to do the growpart
