Does anyone know how to change

CATTLE_SERVER

and remove

CATTLE_CA_CHECKSUM

from an existing RKE1 cluster? I recreated the

rancher-agent

container with the correct args but now the

k8s_cluster-register_cattle-cluster-agent

container is still using the original values so the Rancher UI shows

Cluster agent is not connected

This information is displayed in the Global Settings:

/c/local/settings/management.cattle.io.setting

in the Global Settings page you referenced in the Rancher UI but I was having trouble figuring out how to update the rancher-agent, node-agent and cluster-agent on an existing RKE1 cluster. I ended up having to manually redeploy the rancher agents by doing something similar to what is outlined in https://ranchermanager.docs.rancher.com/getting-started/installation-and-upgrade/resources/update-rancher-certificate#method-3-manu[…]rancher-agents and that got communication between Rancher and the downstream cluster working again and then I was able to force a redeploy of the rancher agents by following https://ranchermanager.docs.rancher.com/getting-started/installation-and-upgrade/resources/update-rancher-certificate#method-1-forc[…]rancher-agents.
