I am not sure if the Longhorn built-in system backup & restore can achieve it without operating the actual data. cc @billowy-painting-56466 The old cluster restore solution may be what you need but it's too complicated and risky hence it's not recommended. Probably you can try to upgrade the Longhorn with the consistent way then remove the another installation info (without affecting the Longhorn)
