I experienced the same issue with rancher2.9.1 and rancher-monitoring:104.1.0+up57.0.3, both with RKE, RKE2, K3S and EKS Clusters. If I access the svc rancher-monitoring-grafana via port-forward, or ingress all works fine. If I access the UI using the link under the Monitoring section that uses the rancher proxy ( eg
https://rancher.xxxxxxxx.it/k8s/clusters/c-m-xxxxxxxx/api/v1/namespaces/cattle-monitoring-system/services/http:rancher-monitoring-grafana:80/proxy/
) or using the kubectl proxy on localhost (
http://localhost:8001/api/v1/namespaces/cattle-monitoring-system/services/http:rancher-monitoring-grafana:80/proxy/?orgId=1
) all the kubernetes-mixin dashboards ( the ones that starts with Kubernetes/ ) stay hung in the browser with 100% Cpu usage, and after a while the browser ( Both FF, Chrome, Safari ) say me to terminate a javascript.
