Which version did you use ? And perhaps you can try restart rke2-server to see if the node could come back ? Currently you might need to edit some configs to enable Longhorn V2 engine as it need HugePage settings. And I thought it would be less pain if you can wait until harvester 1.4.0 release comes out, we'll have a setting to enable LH V2 engine to all nodes. c.c. @ambitious-daybreak-95996

In case it helps, my notes about how to manually enable the V2 data engine on Harvester v1.3.x are in a comment at https://github.com/harvester/harvester/issues/5274#issuecomment-2217187470 I'm rather surprised that checking that box in the Longhorn GUI would break etcd/k8s, so, yeah, as Cooper said, knowing what version of harvester and longhorn you're using would be helpful, and also any relevant logs or error messages.
