Hi, do you mean how the installer build a cluster and install related stuff? If yes, it works like following: First node: 1. The installer brings up rancherd. The rancherd reads config and installs RKE2 server and Rancher. 2. After cluster is up, the rancherd apply configs with prefix

After cluster has 3 nodes, promote-controller changes two of them to server nodes, so the cluster will have 3 server nodes.
