In what sense? Feel free to shoot me a message! StackState/SUSE employee here 🙂

Thank you for replying to my message. I read something like this about integrating with Rancher Prime, does this imply that Stack State will be integrated into the UI?

We’re not sure about how that will exactly take form in the near future. As a first step, we’ll be launching a Rancher Extension that will more seamlessly bridge the gap between Rancher’s Management console and the Observability plane. I do love to hear your further thoughts on the acquisition, and am willing to hear any ideas on how to best integrate. I love working with and listening to community feedback.

In my personal opinion, I would like to see StackState built into the Rancher UI so that it can be operated smoothly from the administration screen. However, StackState does not have the ability to visualize container security. In the current case, I think it is necessary to use tools such as NeuVector, but I don't think it is desirable for developers to have a mixture of tools. So if it is to be fully incorporated, I would like to see that functionality added as well.

I’ll post a link here to the DemoPalooza vision keynote I gave last week on SUSECon once it’s available, it showcases some ideas around these exact concerns. Thanks for the feedback. BTW: Were you familiar with StackState from pre-acquisition?

No, I found out this fact on your blog. People in the Japanese community are starting to show interest. I am very happy that Rancher is introducing a full stack observability tool, and I sent this message because I would like to know more details.
