For future reference, the current stable release is available through the channel service API, mentioned here: https://docs.k3s.io/upgrades/manual#release-channels

its a little confusing that they list v1.30.1+k3s1 before it in the github.... like i assumed that release was latest stable until i checked out their api channel.
