I found out about this https://kubernetes.github.io/ingress-nginx/user-guide/nginx-configuration/configmap/#custom-http-errors , but i don't want nginx to catch errors others than its own route failure. IE if a application mapped by a ingress rule returns a 404, i want it to view this app's own error page.
