Where did you edit it? The controller should pick it up immediately when you apply the change.

I think perhaps the helm-controller part of k3s had crashed or something (although I didn't see anything like that in the logs). It was deployed using the

manifests

directory on the server, and the resource was updated, but helm wasn't triggered. Restarted k3s, and suddenly helm was triggered and performed the install.
