Hi, I would actually try to see if the WSL fulfills all the requirements. It's version 2.0, the correct one is selected and all that stuff. Have you already gone through that check list?

Hm, as I wrote, it was working a few month ago and I'm using the same WSL still, 2.0 btw. But now I noticed that the rancher-desktop-data is not running, even though the GUI shows no errors. Might have to do with 1. in my original post.

it doesn't show up as running on my machine either. I don't think that's an issue. Is Rancher configured to use the correct WSL distribution? If all that works, I would honestly uninstall Rancher, unregister the distribution (if it's ok to delete it) and set up a new WSL distribution from scratch. Then i would reinstall Rancher Desktop. But I'm just another user 😄 maybe there are better solutions
